Jake, Emy, a couple of their friends and I went to the fireworks display at Kenilworth Castle on Saturday (Clare was at home with Morris, who was cowering in the corner). As usual it was a good display, despite some weird Winnie-the-pooh music in the middle, and was a welcome break from wallpapering the bathroom.

Hmmm....I don't get it. The 4th of July is long past. (Is there any other reason for fireworks??)
