Silverstone

Yesterday Dad and I went to Silverstone to race Lotus Exiges around the southern part of the grand prix circuit. It was a wet and windy day, but it didn't stop us from having a great time. We did two sets of 4 or 5 laps with an instructor telling us how to get the most out of the car. We then swapped seats, and the instructor took us around for a lap each. He was rather quick. I now really really want a Lotus. My 30th birthday is coming up!

What a great day. It was tight fit that small car but that's just a good reason why I should have been able to stay in it longer. It's a long time to my birthday so you have all got plenty of time to save up for my Lotus.

That's spectacular Richard. I'm jealous. How fast did you guys get to go in those cars?

Hmm, difficult to say, as I was concentrating on the track more than the instruments, but I did glance at the gauge at the end of the longest straight, and it was high 90s.
